Input Improvisation 2

BLITZ Club, Munich

December 17, 2025

Input Improvisation 2 is a sonic dialogue between Camilla Metelka and Daniel Gianfranceschi. Conceived as a recurring, free-form exploration of various input signals - electric guitar, synthesizers, voice and the body as a sensorial medium - the performance gesture toward the relationship between melody and atonality, between the spontaneous and the deliberate. In an always site-specific and decidedly irreproducible setting, texture, timbre, and transformation act as catalysts for the emergence of new forms of meaning-making.

The performance was part of a performance night celebrating the CD release of the compilation Clunk by Sound And Experiment. The evening also featured additional performances and DJ sets. The CD included new works by artists who contributed performances for Junge Nacht in June 2025 at Museum Brandhorst. In collaboration with BLITZ Club, the program highlighted experimental sound practices and collaborative artistic approaches.
